Alumni Legacy Families
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» takes great pride in the long-standing tradition it shares with generations of families who consider themselves Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Panthers.
Legacy families are students and alumni whose family, including parents, grandparents and/or siblings, attended or currently attend Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». The Legacy Family Program recognizes families for their continued generational support and commitment to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». Family connections have long been a part of the success of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and its students and it is through our alumni families that the heritage of the University passes from generation to generation.

Muscarella Family
At the heart of the family’s Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» story is Louisa Buono Muscarella, who served as Art Exhibit Curator in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Fine Arts Library from 1974 to 1993. A beloved member of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community, Louisa balanced her career and family life while nurturing her own lifelong love of learning. After prioritizing her children’s college educations, she pursued a degree of her own, earning her bachelor’s degree from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in 1988 at the age of 57. Her achievement became an inspiration for generations of her family.

Alumni Award
Children of alumni who are accepted to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» can receive up to a $1,000 alumni award. A student must indicate on their application if a parent or grandparent graduated from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in order to receive the award.
