High school juniors and seniors are invited to experience collegiate-level choral music at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Chorale Preview Day!

This free, immersive experience gives passionate singers the opportunity to spend the day at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, rehearse with our faculty, participate in sectionals, connect with current students and faculty, and experience what it’s like to be part of a college choral program.

The day will culminate in a 5:00 p.m. performance on the Westermann Stage in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s Concert Hall, where students will perform alongside fellow singers and showcase what they’ve learned throughout the day.

Who Should Attend?

Chorale Preview Day is designed for high school juniors and seniors who:

• Have a strong passion for choral music

• Are interested in studying music or continuing choral performance in college

• Want to experience a collegiate choral program firsthand

• Are interested in connecting with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ music faculty and current students

• Perform at NYSSMA Level IV or higher (strongly encouraged)

What Students Will Experience

• Rehearsals with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ choral faculty

• Sectional sessions focused on developing vocal and musical skills

• Opportunities to connect with current Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ students and faculty

• A behind-the-scenes look at the college choral experience

• A final performance in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s Concert Hall

Nomination Deadline: October 1, 2026

Teachers and school representatives may nominate up to five students per school. Please complete one nomination form for up to five students.

This is a free event, and students selected to participate will receive additional event details and information following their nomination.
