Take your first step by applying for admission<\/a> to begin your career in dance at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­. Our Office of University Admissions<\/a> encourages you to learn about financial aid and scholarships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Your audition will also determine whether you\u2019ll receive one of our several talent scholarships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In-Person Auditions<\/h2>\n

Your admission to our highly selective dance program is by audition. All auditions are by appointment only<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The audition experience mirrors a typical day of technique classes, with chances to speak to dance students and faculty. You will be required to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Take a full ballet class<\/li>\n
  2. Take a modern\/contemporary class<\/li>\n
  3. Take a jazz class<\/li>\n
  4. Successful candidates will then be asked to stay to<\/li>\n
  5. Perform your two-minute contemporary solo that features<\/li>\n
  6. Informal interview with faculty<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Virtual Auditions<\/h2>\n

    Can\u2019t make it to campus? You can submit a video audition by preparing a link via Google Drive or a private link to YouTube or Vimeo. Email the link to Beverly Fox at frisk-fox@adelphi.edu<\/a> and Orion Duckstein at oduckstein@adelphi.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    The video should contain:<\/p>\n
